Rainbow Project Celebrates 15th Birthday

The Rainbow Project celebrated it's 15th birthday at a major event in Stormont Castle.  The event heard of the history and major positive work carried out by the organisation and the major contribution made to society.  The event was sponsored by Martina Anderson MLA and attended by many MLA's from all parties.  Notibly the DUP were absent.  The Rainbow Project look forward to another 15 years of service to gay and bisexual men in Northern Ireland.

Anti-Homophobia Week Launched

Northern Ireland Anti-Homophobia Week was launched in Belfast this week outside City Hall.  The week sees a lorry with a billboard raising awareness travel NI.  There are several formal events at Stormont and Derry City Council aswell as visits by the lorry and billboard to other towns including Strabane, Enniskillen and Magherafelt.  More info HERE

Northern Ireland Anti-Homophobia Week Begins

The Rainbow Project in partnership with Cara-Friend and Lesbian Advocacy Services Initiative (LASI) will this raise awareness of homophobia in Northern Ireland from November 2nd to 6th.  A lorry with a billboard raising awareness will travel Northern Ireland.  It will be at 2 events organised by The Rainbow Project at Stormont on Wednesday 4th from 4pm and Derry City Council offices on November 5th from 1130am.  Further information available at Rainbow Projects offices in Foyle and Belfast.

Photographic Exhibition on Foyle Pride 09

The Rainbow Project in partnership with The Gasyard Centre will exhibit photographs taken at Foyle Pride 09.  The exhibition will take place at Sandino's, Water Street, L'Derry on Thursday November 19th.  Everyone is welcome to the event.  For further information contact David Mc Cartney at The Rainbow Project on 71283030.
